Abstarct Paintings

"Of all the arts, abstract painting is the most difficult. It demands that you know how to draw well, that you have a heightened sensitivity for composition and for colours, and that you be a true poet. This last is essential." -- Wassily Kandinsky.

My Abstract Art Series is heavily influenced by nature and the environment and focuses on trying to show the beauty found in the every day and overlooked world we live in.

My creative process when working on my paintings includes experimenting with unusual materials found in the natural environment and using them to create Original Abstract Paintings.

Artists are always asking about how to improve their painting. I think one of the best things an artist can do to improve is become aware of the variety in everything they paint.

Variety creates interest it can be used to move the eye through a painting and its complexity is endless. To see variety you must make yourself aware of the differences between pictorial elements that share similar traits but have a unique quality that creates their individuality.

I have been living in Qatar for almost 30 years and I consider my self-lucky to be here for so long. Throughout these years i was able to see and experience different cultures, meet diverse people and styles of living. My ambition is to be able to present and demonstrate the diversity in culture around us.

The challenge of filling a blank sheet of paper with something that would fulfil someone elses desires is intoxicating and highly addictive.

Beginning of this year, I noticed that the more I immersed myself in the creative process, the more I wanted to express my thoughts. I was feeling a hunger. An urge to pick up a paint brush and make a mark on a canvas and create some original art. To go deeper into my thoughts without a brief, without an expected outcome. I had been painting at every opportunity and people began to buy my work.
